The enterprise was put into operation in 1963. It is a state-of-the-art technology-intensive plant.

The basic production activities are as follows:
- fabrication of production samples of computing systems for information and control systems; their repair and warranty service;
- manufacture of production samples of special-purpose radar installations and systems for the Russian Navy; their repair and warranty service;
- manufacture of power supplies, AC/DC converters, control units supplied from the 3-phase 220 V 400 Hz network for special-purpose digital computing machinery;
- development and fabrication of medical equipment, retail equipment and other types of consumer goods;
- manufacture of electrical distribution, monitoring equipment and the Sprut-2 telecontrol systems for energy-sector enterprises;
- manufacture and testing of amplifiers for special-purpose electromechanical calculating devices as well as for the national economic needs;
- manufacture of pilot and production samples of electromagnetic motors for pumps at thermal and hydroelectric power stations;
- development and manufacture of the Poisk assembly machines designed to solder planar-mounted integrated circuits;
- manufacture of production samples of the Kurs assembly machines designed to manufacture wired circuits using “straight line” methods;
- manufacture of componentry and nodes for gas supply pipeline networks.

The enterprise is qualified in supplying power-generating equipment of the company OGK-5.
Information and control computer systems and installations manufactured by our enterprise and installed on the Russian Navy ships have proved to be reliable, high-performance products.
The Sprut-2 telecontrol systems designed to acquire and process data from distant electric power facilities are operated by numerous enterprises of the Russian energy system.
The enterprise increases its production volumes year by year.
