In the ship-building industry system (Izumrud Plant) Izumrud JSC has been functioning since 1966; it is established as a specialized manufacturing enterprise of radar control systems for the needs of the Navy, the Federal Border Service and for the export supplies. The enterprise carried out repairs and modernization of the systems earlier installed on the ships of all ranks and manufactured the spare parts for them. Izumrud JSC is the only enterprise in the sphere of fabrication of MR-123-02 radar mod.3 with optronic channel.
Besides during the period since 1970 till 1985 the enterprise mastered and produced in series the following specialized machinery products: MK-100K, Mk-103A, MS-8, ZU-87 (Kortik), 6A-30, 103 Column, 213 Column, 219 Column, PZ product, ZShh-10, ZShh-20, ZShh-30, ZShh-40. The consumer goods scale was increased up to 20% of the overall production volume.
At present the Izumrud JSC enterprise successfully develops and produces the output of multifunctional integrated radar systems with the stationary active phased array antenna (Bagira-M code) for the replacement of obsolete systems on the ships of different ranks.
Among the civil industry products the enterprise continues further development of electric meters, electric boards, automatized metering system, energy-saving light bulbs both in the universal usage constructions and in the direction of production diversification and improvement in quality.
